HR Manager, Farmington Hills, MA

Maintains a positive relationship with employees; communicates daily with employees and line management; serves as a liaison between employees and line management to resolve issues; provides feedback to questions and concerns about company policy, benefits and payroll issues in a timely manner.

Resolves employee concerns in a manner that is consistent with company policy; keeps employees and line management informed of policy changes and how those changes relate to them.

Assists other departments such as Benefits, Payroll and Safety with a timely return of requested information; works with the various departments to keep employee records updated regarding terminations, job transfers and changes in benefits coverage.

Conducts investigations in matters such as inappropriate conduct, attendance, sexual harassment and other violations of company policy; participates in the administration of any proposed corrective action.

Conducts the initial and panel interviews with employment applicants; assists in orientation of new employees; monitors new employee performance and verifies that performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner.

As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
